Otherwise, you can take the chairlift Santa Croce that leads from the village of Badia to the Summer Park La Crusc, located right in front of Ütia Nagler restaurant. In this case, however, don’t hesitate to take the second chairlift La Crusc as well, heading towards the sanctuary of Santa Croce at the foot of mighty Sas dla Crusc (Sasso di Santa Croce / Heiligkreuzkofel) where you can enjoy a stunning 360-degree panorama. The easy picturesque descent, on foot or by bike, will become a wonderful prelude to a flavoursome lunch at Ütia Nagler restaurant.

The Alfarei family

Customer satisfaction is the main mission of Ütia Nagler restaurant in Alta Badia since 2004, when the Alfarei family took over its management. Eugenia, known by everyone as Giusi, is the restaurant’s soul, always hospitable and friendly: in winter she welcomes the guests at their tables and in summer creates mouth-watering delicacies in the kitchen. Her husband, Robert, is constantly involved in customer service, sometimes with the help of their daughter Karin. Their son Manuel, however, works every winter at the bar counter. This perfect family synergy creates the atmosphere of particular cordiality and affability that is perceived in the whole restaurant.

Andrac Apartment is located on Andrac Farm in Badia/Abtei, owned by the Alfarei family. It’s a completely new lodge, full of light and immersed in nature. Behind the characteristic wooden façade there are ample spaces furnished in a warm and refined style inspired by the surrounding landscapes that suggest the combination of natural materials with pastel colours and red accents. Set on the first floor, the apartment is distinguished by living comfort. It is composed of two bedrooms (a double one and a twin one), a living room with sofa, dining areawith TV/Sat and an open-plan kitchen equipped with electric hob, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, crockery and cutlery. Bathroom facilities include shower, WC, bidet, washing machine and hairdryer. The apartment features a balcony with a panoramic view of the village of Badia and of the Gardenaccia massif. Private parking and free WI-FI connection complete the offer.

Andrac farm, raising dairy cows and hens, is surrounded by the atmosphere of serenity and silence. Located 3 km away from the centre of Badia and dominated by might Sas dla Crusc, it’s an ideal destination to unwind and soak up natural harmony, in any season: in spring when the nearby Armentara meadows sparkle with all shades of green; in summer when the air is filled with the scent of Alpine flowers and fresh hay; in autumn when the surrounding woods are covered with brushstrokes of red and brown and, of course, in winter when the virgin snow blanket invites for charming snowshoe hikes and ski touring adventures.
